Leadership Coaching

Two women in casual clothing standing in an indoor horse stable with a chestnut horse between them. One woman is smiling and gesturing, the other appears to be speaking or reacting. Sunlight is streaming in from the openings in the stable.

After years of working with nonprofits, one truth remains firm: it probably isn’t your mission or development director that is limiting your fundraising capacity. It’s “the other things.” Thrive’s coaching services can help develop your board, improve your budget, update your processes, or even redesign your physical office to make work more productive.

Our Approach

As a former public school teacher and high school swim coach, Kim’s first career was focused on finding ways to get students and athletes to choose to be lifelong learners. As a special needs parent, Kim has learned first-hand that everyone learns differently - it is the presenter’s job to ensure they find an avenue to reach each learner.

For this reason, every Thrive training is uniquely curated for you. We use evidence-based practices (like movement, visual aids, and humor to ensure lessons learned move through the working, short-term, and long-term memory pipeline. So, yes, if you want a Taylor Swift-themed board training, we will wear our friendship bracelets, too.
